Helsingor

2. Well developed goveronment apparatus(finance, legislation, local administration, main roads, weights and measures)

4. Coordinated market economies-Coorporative trade unions, no tafiff in EU Allighments, business associations and the coorporative bargaining
5. Accumulated economic development
6. High social trust
7. Well organized civil society, welfare state
8. Open economy
9. Flexibility (easy to register a private company)

Weakness:
1. High interests and tax payment
2. High labor costs
3. Media language (Danish)

The Danish Experience

We should read "The State of Denmark" tonight.

"The Renaissance was a cultural movement that profoundly affected European intellectual life in the early modern period. Beginning in Italy, and spreading to the rest of Europe by the 16th century, its influence was felt in literature, philosophy, art, politics, science, religion, and other aspects of intellectual enquiry."

An insight into the context of business and working life in Denmark, based on an understanding of industry-society relationships and their historical background.

Most things still remain to be done.

Today I leant what means Innovation as a company's competitive advantage.
New product.
New methods of production.
Opening of new markets.
Opening of new sources of supply.
New forms of organization.
Breaking up of existing monopolies and cartels or creation of new ones.

Take IKEA as a successful example, it owns all of the above mentioned factors.
How great a man Ingvar Kamprad is!

It was really a long course today from 9am to 1.30pm! We only took a break after the course was lasting for 3 hours!
But frankly speaking, professor Lars, who can make things simpified and clear, he incentives my interests in know-how.

The most expensive book I have ever bought is the IIE- reading and cases of Internship in International Entrepreneurship, 359 krs! Even if we know an entrepreneur should be cost consicous but we need to invest for resources and development as well. ^-^
